Q- What is Link Penalty and how to deal with link penalties?
In the search results, when the manipulative backlinks are intended to favor particular companies, adding such kind of links to the websites breaks the terms and conditions set by Google and therefore causes the link penalty. When such links are detected, Google imposes penalties to discourage other companies from following such kind of practice. If one has found such kind of link on their websites, first of all, these links should be removed and if these links can’t be removed, disavow the one which can’t be deleted. Use Webmaster Tool to identify all the backlinks and Monitor backlinks to identify the bad links.

Before a disavow report is created, the removal of all the backlinks is important. Use Disavow Tag to tag such kind of links which cannot be deleted.
